For research leads and PIs
Technology shaped around study design, not generic platform defaults.
Research teams pay for weak product decisions twice: once in adoption friction and again
when the resulting data is difficult to trust. The useful question is rarely whether a
platform looks capable. It is whether the platform fits the intervention, the workflow,
and the evidence burden of the study.
Three things to settle early
- What the intervention actually requires the system to distinguish and record.
- How participants and staff will understand the workflow without support-heavy workarounds.
- Which metrics are direct captures and which are only inferred proxies.
Why product quality matters
If an educator or participant cannot understand the flow, the intervention is no longer
being delivered as intended. That affects completion, engagement, fidelity, and the
meaning of the data you later analyse.
